You can say that this examination is the first hurdle to cross and from last few years appearing in NDA exam has come up as the dream exam of all who are studying or have passed their 12th class. The number of aspirants gears up in every six month for the most competitive exams these days.
The best time to apply for NDA exam is just after 12th as an early start is good for cracking any competitive exam. The course of NDA exam comprises of General Knowledge & Current Affairs, Mathematics, English, History & Geography, Political Science, Physics, Biology and Chemistry. Have a look on previous year sample papers is the best way to gauge the level of difficulty in the questions.
Building knowledge in your mind is the key to success because it is you who can reproduce this knowledge in examination hall. Tutors, online classes and digital media are the only methods of giving knowledge but it’s up to you how much you have gained and for that what matters the most is only your efforts. If you have enough time, coaching classes can help you a lot but at the same time you need to have carefully planned time management. But remember even after taking coaching, learning is must.
Tips for NDA Exam
1. Build your study schedule week wise.
2. As your NDA exam syllabus and 12th class syllabus is same, you can easily make your schedule in such a way so that you can prepare for both.
3. In your spare time revise your 10th standard social science books. You should have the knowledge of basic principles of geography and history, so focus on these books and don’t let them collect dust.
4. Make your own notes including important points to remember.
5. Brush your General awareness and for this, ideally you should read newspaper daily but it doesn’t always happen. So best way is to pick up a book covering current information of general areas including sports, international sports, popular authors and books as well. In this way you can keep yourself updated and if you have time, you can make notes of important facts too.
6. Try to practice more and more to improve your English and don’t ever taken it lightly. English section is of 200 marks and with a bit of daily practicing or reading English newspaper, you could score well. Error finding and un- jumbling based questions are asked regularly in competitive exams. Do focus on that and thorough understanding of PARTS OF SPEECH will help you do well in this error handling.
7. Remember there is negative marking, so avoid guessing or wrong responses.
It’s a well known proverb that Practice makes a man perfect. Keep practicing that makes you perfect and any competitive exam is clearly a question of mind and matter. So get ready and Go!!!

Those who are looking forward for making their career in Defense forces India are always confused about the SSB training, whether they need to join coaching for this or not. Well before explain the importance of SSB training coaching institutes. Let’s have a look on the selection procedure. SSB selection procedure is one of the toughest and vigorous procedures in the world and that is the reason only 20 to 30 candidates are selected from hundreds of aspirants every year.
Selection procedure of SSB comprises of five major steps which include Reporting, Screening test, Psychology test, Group Discussion, and the final Interview. Candidates need to go through all steps and are selected on the basis of intelligence and personality through their behavior. The officers who conduct the selection process are well trained and experienced they can easily judge the student on the basis of their behavior.
Now comes to the point-
Basically if you are facing SSB interview without any training, then either you are over confident or you are not serious about your career. Appointed as an officer in Indian Defense Forces is a respected and prestige post and if you are selected for the SSB interview, then you are lucky enough from hundreds of aspirants who are trying every year but still not get positive result.
Facing the interview without get training is just like driving a vehicle without practice and get well without medicine. But it does not mean that training is foremost necessary to get selected for SSB because several candidates are there who never joined coaching center, still recommended for SSB and others are those who are taking training from two years, but still not have any chance to get selected. So what the important point here?
The fact is- there is no institute that ensures your 100% guaranteed selection, but at the same time it does not mean that they would not help you because if you join a trusted and experienced coaching centre then definitely you increase your chances of selection. May be you find candidates who suggest you to not join any kind of professional training. But this time you need to think about what is the %age of the candidates who were selected for SSB without any coaching? Might be the repeaters can clear easily without coaching as they have enough knowledge about the pattern of the exam and other necessary information.
But if you want to clear in your first attempt and confused how to prepare well for SSB exam and interview, then SSB training coaching is the ideal place for you. Their trained and experienced tutors guide you about every step of the process and help you to improve your performances based on the SSB environment. So choice is yours whether you want to be selected in your first attempt or want to play with your career that looks astonishing.

NDA or National Defense Academy is one of the best military institutes in India and is known for its prime excellence for the selection of youth of our country for the defense forces such as Navy, Army and Air force. It is the place where leaders of tomorrow are trained to lead the defense forces of India. The NDA exam is conducted twice in a year by The Union Public Service Commission held in the month of April and August.
This exam comprises of two major parts, one is General Awareness and other is Mathematics. Both the exams are held on the same day and judge the all around knowledge and capability of the candidate in different fields like Politics, Economy, Current Affairs, English, Chemistry, Life Science, Geography and General Knowledge etc. As this exam is considered as a toughest one candidate need to prepare in advance. Lot of practice and lot of self study is the key factor of getting success in.
It’s every candidate’s dream to get success in such exams and for them there are two great options available for preparation one is self study by purchasing several books that are easily available at the nearest book stores and other one is to take coaching from a recognized academy who is proficient in providing training to the candidates and prepares them well for the exams. Well these both options are appropriate for exam preparation and have their own benefits.
If you are very good in self studying and love to learn by yourself, then there is no need to join any kind of coaching for the preparation. If you are confident enough that you don’t need any help and can prepare by your own then it’s good to purchase some latest sample papers and course related books and magazines that will help in increasing your knowledge. Don’t forget to buy books related to current affairs and general knowledge and other related subjects as well.
On the other hand, if you are confused how to prepare well for such kind of prestige exam or don’t have any idea about in which field you are lacking? Then it’s better to join NDA coaching institute instead of wasting your time in searching the ways for preparation. By joining the coaching institutes, students can take the advantage of experience tutors and also get regular in studies which sometimes not possible in self studying. In addition these institutes provide mock test facility so that you can judge yourself about your weaknesses and strength. If you have any doubt, you can communicate with your trainer he/she will guide with accurate information and also guide you about how to crack exam and interviews in first attempts.
Do practice more and more and don’t get bored after two or a weak day preparation, revise more sample papers and don’t hesitate to clear your any doubt with the trainer are some successful tips to get successful assurance in the exam.
